The 2018 MiniChess Kenya GrandPrix is off to a successful start after a wonderful first of 10 events at the Braeburn Imani International School, Thika.

The event attracted 194 chess players in all five categories representing more than 20 schools and clubs. In addition to chess, players under 12 were treated to lots of fun engineering for kids lessons from our partners Young Engineers.

The overall winners of the categories are:
