Registration fee – KES. 750/- early registration (by 30th September) and KES. 1,000 after 30th September
Prizes – Trophies for category winners,
Silver medals for position 2, and
Bronze medals for position 3
Meals – separate cost, will be available on site for purchase
A. PARTICIPANTS & ELIGIBILITY – The categories are as follows:
- Elite Category (FIDE Rated) – Open to all players born after 2005 years.
- Under 8 – born on or after 2015
- Under 10 – born on or after 2013
- Under 12 – born on or after 2011
- Under 14 – born on or after 2009
- Under 16 – born on or after 2007
- Under 18 – born on or after 2005
** Elite Category is a FIDE Rated event open to all junior players born after 2005. See separate schedule in section G. The category is limited to 20 players
